Foster comments: Ziggy is such a sweet boy. He loves to cuddle!! He lets you give him a bath and mess with his paws. He likes his dog bed and will lay on the dog bed by you while you are on the couch. He doesn’t bark that much. I’ve only heard him bark at the sound of a loud motorcycle.

He doesn’t have a “personal space bubble” meaning that he doesn’t mind if you get all close to him and hug him and stuff, but it also means he will kind of get in your space too. I.e. when you are walking around, he wants to be right there by your legs. He needs someone that loves snuggles and will give him a lot of attention. He loves to be pet and get attention.

He is very smart; it only took him 10 minutes to learn how to sit. He will be easily trained. He knows “No” and “Uh uh.” He let’s you take his food bowl/toys away from him. He has been sweet with every person that he has met while in my care. I have not seen him interact with kids, but I think he would be okay with them 😊 I would recommend that they are about 5 years old at least so that they are steadier on their feet.

He will make a good dog in basically any situation – whether it’s with a family, a couple or a single person. He’s just really sweet and goofy. He is my first foster dog, and I couldn’t have gotten luckier. I will be very sad to part with him, and my house will feel different without him there. He’s very easy to love. Sweet Ziggy Boy.
